Day By Day Itinerary
We'll pick you up from your hotel accommodation in Arusha and transfer you to Arusha Airstrip for your flight to the Ndutu Area. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your tour guide/driver and begin your first thrilling game drive.
The Lake Ndutu area is located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which forms part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Lake Ndutu, an alkaline lake like most of the Rift Valley lakes, provides drinkable water that is heavily utilized by a diverse range of local wildlife. From December to April, the majority of the wildebeest migration is found grazing on the rich short-grass plains, making it one of the most spectacular times to visit. The region is also known for its dense population of elephants, a variety of bird species, and a wealth of resident wildlife, all of which make for an unforgettable safari experience.

Seronera is renowned for its resident wildlife, particularly the Big Five, making it a prime location for wildlife enthusiasts. The park is home to an impressive population of lions, with the Serengeti believed to house the largest population of these majestic predators in Africa—over 3,000 lions roam this ecosystem. The African leopard, another member of the Big Five, is frequently spotted in the area. These elusive predators, known for their stealth, can often be seen lurking in the shadows of the acacia trees or around rocky outcrops.
As you continue your game drive, keep an eye out for other iconic species, including elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos, as well as the incredible array of birdlife that inhabits this vast landscape.

After a delicious breakfast, we'll continue our game drive in the Seronera area, where the Serengeti's wildlife will continue to captivate your attention. In the afternoon, we will head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its incredible biodiversity and stunning landscapes.
As we leave the Serengeti and drive through the breathtaking landscapes, you'll be reminded of the ancient rhythms of nature that have shaped this land for centuries. One of the most awe-inspiring natural spectacles is the Great Wildebeest Migration. Each year, millions of wildebeest are driven by a powerful instinct to embark on an epic journey across the plains. The migration is a dramatic sight, with the herds traversing 40 km (25 miles) of crocodile-infested waters in their annual exodus north.
This extraordinary movement leads to a brief population explosion, where over 8,000 wildebeest calves are born daily. The survival of these young is a testament to the resilience of the species, and the migration continues as the wildebeest travel over 1,000 km (600 miles), completing the circle of life in a relentless journey driven by nature's ancient rhythms.
Your time in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area will offer a new chapter in this incredible wildlife adventure.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Safari Lodge

You will have the opportunity to enjoy a final game drive in the crater, where you'll witness the thriving ecosystems and diverse wildlife that call this place home.
Later, we will drive back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight back home or continue your travels to your next destination, bringing an end to an unforgettable adventure in Tanzania's pristine wilderness.

Verified Our overall experience - described under Review tips We were two families consisting of six adults. The trip was very well organized with a lot of personal care. The hotel / camp tents we stayed in Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorangoro were in scenic locations and had good amenities. The driver cum guide of the van was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the different birds and animals. We were therefore able to spot all the big five (rhino from a distance, but all others at close quarters). Needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The cost was also reasonable and I would therefore highly recommend Shankar N2025-01-13Verified A great experience of Eastern african game parks, best value for money! Gonna Safaris provided a truly memorable experience on this tour of Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. This was a four day tour, starting and ending in Arusha. We were a party of four, comprising of two families. We flew into Arusha on the first morning and were met at the airport by Ms Halimaa, from the tour operators. We left for Tarangire in short order in the Safari jeep, a Toyota landcruiser in top condition. Our driver, Mr Deryck, was excellent company besides being a first-class driver. The weather stayed good throughout. We covered Tarangire on day 1, Serengeti (via Ngorongoro) on Day2 and day 3, and Ngorongo on Day 4, to return to Arusha by the evening of day 4. We were again met by Ms Halimaa, who guided us to a nice restaurant for dinner, since we had the time, before dropping us in Kilimanjaro for our return flight. Thanks to the immaculate planing by the tour operators, we saw just about every animal we were told to expect/not to expect, in the three parks. And almost all of them at close quarters. The Landcruiser had onboard wifi, and the arrangements for stay were excellent on all three nights, with the people in the camping sites being extremely courteous and welcoming. About the only difficulty we had, being vegans, were with the food in a couple of places, but even those were minor and we were able to adjust. I would rate this as one of the best organised tours I have undertaken, and great value for money. aksuresh2025-01-12Verified Best Safari experience ever ! You will have an amazing experience.
