Booking Terms and Conditions

Reservation and Payment

Deposit: A 20% deposit is required to secure your booking.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 21 days before the start of the safari. Alternatively, clients may pay in cash upon arrival by prior arrangement.

Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and other payment options as communicated during booking.


Booking Confirmation

– Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the deposit payment.

– A booking confirmation, including the itinerary and payment receipt, will be sent via email.


Cancellation Policy

– More than 60 days before departure: Full refund of the deposit.

– 30 to 59 days before departure: 50% of the total safari cost refunded.

– Less than 30 days before departure: No refund will be provided.

– No-Show: No refunds.

Note: Cancellation fees may vary depending on third-party service providers, such as lodges and airline partners.


Amendments and Changes

– Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

– Any changes made within 21 days of departure will be treated as cancellations and subject to the cancellation policy.


Travel Insurance

– Clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.

– Goanna Safaris will not be held responsible for any losses, injuries, or delays.


Health and Safety

– It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are in good health and fit for safari activities.

– Clients should consult a healthcare provider for vaccinations and malaria precautions before travelling.


Liability

– Goanna Safaris is committed to delivering high-quality services but is not liable for events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, political unrest, flight cancellations, and changes imposed by third-party service providers.

– While all reasonable care is taken, participation in safaris and activities is at the client’s own risk.


Passport and Visa Requirements

– Clients must ensure they have a valid passport with at least six months’ validity and the necessary visas for entry into Tanzania.


Force Majeure

– Goanna Safaris is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, and acts of government.


Complaints and Disputes

– Any complaints during the safari should be raised immediately to allow us to resolve the issue.

– Complaints made after the safari should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the tour’s completion.


Governing Law

– These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania.
